The shooting took place in March 2022 in Southwest Atlanta, where a house was riddled with bullets. During the incident, an officer utilized the Ring doorbell to communicate with an individual at the house as the officer’s body camera picked up the full conversation.

Young Thug’s legal team is arguing that it isn’t the rapper’s voice in the recording and are looking to ban the evidence from being included in the RICO case altogether.
