Eminem's Bad Meets Evil Producer Calls EP 'Dope'
Eminem and Royce have joined forces on more than Royce's upcoming LP; the pair are releasing a duet EP under the group name Bad Meets Evil. The project is set to hit shelves on June 14.
"The album is dope. That's all I can tell you about it," producer Denaun Porter told MTV News, who says the Bad Meets Evil concept developed while recording Royce's solo album. "We had one song and it turned into, 'Yo, what do you think about getting Em on this record?' "
Not long after, Royce and Em agreed on the dual LP, more producers joined the recording process.
While Porter didn't share much detail as to how the EP will sound, Mobb Deep's Havoc, who also contributed to the project, was a bit more forth-coming about his song.
"[It sounds like] you're going down a dark hall with a whole bunch of monks just screamin' at you," the Queens native shared.
DJ Khalil and Bangladesh have also joined the beatminer line-up on the Bad Meets Evil EP.
