OUCH! Here's The Painful AF Beauty Treatment Jhené Aiko Uses To Get Perfect Skin

Jhené Aiko's beauty treatment is painful but she feels it's worth the money and scabs

Scrolling through Jhené Aiko's Instagram account, you will quickly see three things: she takes being a singer seriously, she's stylish, and her skin is always radiant.

No filter needed. Don't believe us? See the glow for yourself:

As a celebrity not afraid to bare it all, the 29-year-old singer often takes photos showing off her natural beauty. And now we finally have her (painful) secret to how she keeps her skin popping!

In recent post, Jhené revealed she gets Fraxel laser treatments, an in-office procedure that "works below the skin’s surface from the top down, addressing imperfections like fine lines, visible photo aging, wrinkles, scarring and age spots."

On the selfie, she shared in the caption: "Got laser on my face the other day and they burnt my forehead."

Seems painful, but it turns out her experience getting burned is common as this can happen when looking to repair the skin via lasers. Pic below:

Naturally, fans wanted more deets — and to our surprise, she answered!

"I get Fraxel about twice a year. It's an intense laser treatment that improves texture, acne scars and enlarged pores," she responded in the comments.

"It's kinda expensive. And hurts like sh*t. Ur face micro scabs... the scabs fall off gradually... over a period of like 7 days. And then a new layer of skin is revealed... your face stays swollen for like another week. Its all so worth it tho lol."

And as far as the price tag, it can range from $900 to $1900 depending on where you get your treatment done.

She then went on to share her regimen for when she's between sessions:

"I keep up the results w/ Alastin skin careiS Clinical serums, [Cerave] wash, Lancer scrub and [Circcell Abo +|-] serum. Also I take collagen pills, drink kangen water, apple cider vinegar and take Super Food by Dr Shulze's daily!"

She finished off her beauty Q&A by saying she finds birth control helps with her skin since she used to have "cystic acne due to ovarian cyst."

Don't think we're not taking notes! Summer is right around the corner and we all want to have that summertime glow!
