David Justice Is Talking About Halle Berry... Again

The former baseball player is still ranting.

David Justice certainly has a lot to say about his ex-wife Halle Berry. The former baseball player has spoken out — again — about the allegations of abuse he faced after he divorced the Oscar winner in 1997. After his Twitter rant last week, Justice has chosen to elaborate on his side of the story to People.
"Over the past 20 years, I've heard people saying, 'Isn't that the dude who hit Halle Berry in the head?'" he explains about what motivated him to speak out nearly twenty years after he and Berry split. Even at his baseball games, he claims, "They'd scream, 'Hey Justice, hit the ball like you hit Halle!'"
In sending those tweets, he says, "All I was trying to do was let the world know that David Justice is not the person who hit her on her head and caused her hearing loss. Not only did David Justice not do that, David Justice never hit her, period."
As for why he decided to stay silent back then and for all these years, he says, "As a baseball player back in those days, there were no publicists, I didn't have a team. Halle had managers, lawyers, publicists, etc. It was Team Halle versus me." By keeping silent, Justice adds, "I thought I was taking the high road, and as a result a lot of stuff was said about me, and because I didn't saying anything back, a lot of people thought it must've been true."
In his tweets last week, Justice accused Berry of destroying the characters of all her exes, including her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry, with whom she's been battling for custody of their daughter, Nahla, and her estranged husband, Olivier Martinez.
The father-of-three, whose eldest daughter is an aspiring actress who recently landed her first television role, says the rumors took a toll on his career. "I will never be able to quantify it, but I guarantee that I have lost a lot of endorsement deals behind this cloud over my head, no question," he says.

Justice has since deleted most of his tweets, but we have a feeling this isn't the last we'll be hearing from him.
