Michael Jackson Climbs Top R&B Albums Chart As ‘Thriller 40’ Documentary Premieres
Michael Jackson’s legacy is hitting some high points as of late.
Not only did the new documentary “Thriller 40,” which celebrates the King of Pop’s life and accomplishments, premiere on Showtime Friday (Dec. 2), but his music streaming numbers are also spiking.
Last week, a trio of Jackson albums claimed several spots on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart, which consists of 25 spaces overall. Unsurprisingly, “Thriller” took a spot, peaking at No. 6 during the week ending on Dec. 2, according to Luminate.
