Queen Latifah Will "Never Forget" Grammys Wedding of Same-Sex Couples

Talk show host officiated as 33 couples tied the knot.

Queen Latifah helped make history on Sunday night at the Grammy Awards, where she officiated over 33 marriages — many of them same-sex — during Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' performance of "Same Love."
Now, the rapper, actress and talk show host is reflecting on the experience on The Queen Latifah Show this morning. “We had us a wed’n!" Latifah says exuberantly. She confesses that her mind is blown and she “will never, ever forget that experience.”
The entertainer shares some behind-the-scenes footage of the experience on her show this morning, including shots of her signing the 33 marriage licenses. Latifah, who was deputized for a single day to perform the ceremonies, says she is "so, so proud" of the performance.
Latifah didn't, however, use the opportunity to speak out about her own sexuality. The 43-year-old powerhouse has been rumored to be a lesbian for many years, but has consistently declined speaking publicly about her private life.
Still, it was a magical night and will surely be one of the most talked-about moments in Grammys history.
