LEGO Marvel To Release T-Challa-Inspired, 2,900-Piece Black Panther Bust Set
Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated to hit the silver screen on November 11, and in celebration, LEGO is celebrating the legacy of Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal of King T’Challa in the original 2018 film.
According to ComicBook.com, the 76215 Black Panther life-size bust consists of 2,961 pieces and is the first for the LEGO Marvel theme. Buyers of the bust will be able to display it in a standard pose or the highly appropriate “Wakanda Forever” crossed arm pose.
Beginning at Midnight EST on September 30/October 1, the LEGO 76215 Black Panther life-size bust will be available to order at the LEGO Shop and will cost $349.99. After it’s built, the bust measures 18-inches tall x 20-inches wide and 11-inches deep.
The character was first introduced in the Marvel Comics Fantastic Four comic book back in 1966, but this bust’s appearance is based on the Black Panther’s appearance in the 2018 MCU blockbuster.
Despite the life-sized scale, neither the bust nor the gloves will be wearable as both are solid LEGO builds with the intricate support of the structures on the inside.
