Welp, Scott Disick And Sofia Richie’s Relationship Ended In Fireworks And Lionel Richie Is ‘Livid’
There’s one person who isn’t disappointed that Sofia Richie split from Scott Disick.
A source close to the former couple is telling PEOPLE Magazine that the breakup is much approved by Sofia’s father, Lionel Richie.
“Lionel hasn’t approved of the relationship since the beginning,” the insider says. “He joked about it publicly but he was livid.”
Another source previously told the magazine that Lionel previously knew that Disick isn’t too loyal, but went along with it for his daughter.
“Lionel knows Scott’s playboy ways, and he doesn’t want to see his daughter get hurt,” the insider said.
That said, the relationship isn’t as done as many think. The newest source says they’ve already broken up multiple times only to get back together.
“It’s likely not totally over,” they said. “They’ve broken up multiple times since they started dating and always ended up back together. No one would be surprised if they’re out again together in a few days or weeks.”
It was Sofia that reportedly broke things off with Scott. The break-up news surfaced after Disick was spotted flirting with a mystery woman at Kanye West’s Ye listening party in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Thursday night (May 31). However, their relationship was already supposedly over as TMZ says Scott informed other guests at the even that he and Richie were no longer together.
