PartyNextDoor Responds to Nicki Minaj and Ghostwriting Claims in Now-Deleted Tweet
Yesterday (Mar. 11) Nicki Minaj made time to address rumors that identified PartyNextDoor as a ghostwriter for her recent track, "Regret in Your Tears."
Taking to Twitter, Minaj denied the allegation, saying that not only has the OVO signee never heard the song "a day in his life," he had nothing to do with the track. PartyNextDoor has since responded, but was quick to delete his tweet addressing the rapper and their recent digital bickering.
Minaj called out PartyNextDoor for being petty, saying that she wasn't sure why he was "liking" all the tweets that claimed he ghostwrote for her, saying that maybe he was "hacked" or it was just "funny" to him.
In a now-deleted tweet, PartyNextDoor exclaimed that at the end of the day, rumor or not, he's a fan of Minaj's.
"I'm a fan of nicki minaj," he wrote. "We have a song together, I hope she's as cool & as I've always imagined."
While the tweet has since been wiped clean from his Twitter page, DJ Akademiks was quick to snag a screenshot, with many weighing in their own opinions on whether or not PartyNextDoor will be the next person Minaj goes to war with.
The song he refers to in his post is his recent collaborative track with Major Lazer and Minaj, titled "Run Up."
