Kelly Rowland said she's been watching fans on Twitter link her "Dirty Laundry" single from her forthcoming Talk a Good Game (Jun. 18) to songs from Destiny's Child's Destiny Fulfilled (1994). And, the fans are correct.

"It's so funny. I don't know how people connect dots with music and artists that they have followed so long, but when I saw that on Twitter — that people started to put all the pieces of the puzzle together — it was so interesting," she told Philly's Hot 107.9. "They did it with 'Girl,' they did it with 'Bad Habit,' they did it with so many songs on that album."

"Destiny's Child is deeper than what people see on the surface," she said. "Those are my homies for life. For. Life. Golden Girls. We stuck together. Period."

Though she refuses to name her abuser, in an interview with omg! Insider, Rowland got a little more emotional about her "homies."

"[Beyoncé] she is so incredibly supportive," she said, failing to fight back tears again. "I am so grateful for her, for Michelle, for being incredible women in my life."

"It was an emotional roller coaster, a piece of me would just go away every time he would say something," she continued. "[In 'Girls,' Beyoncé and Michelle] were talking to me. Those ladies know me better than anybody … At that time, no, I couldn't hear. I was really just going in my own path, I was trying to find my way."

Of the man in question, she said, "He is a different person now, he's a better person now."

Despite his growth, however, she still also said, "I had to walk away. You just get tired, you get tired of not being happy. That's not a life you want to live."

In addition to "Dirty Laundry," Rowland's Talk a Good Game has so far yielded "Kisses Down Low" and a DC reunion via "You've Changed." She is currently headlining on the Lights Out Tour with The Dream, who wrote her "Dirty Laundry," and is helping to push the new DC video anthology.
