[Watch] Blake Griffin Destroy Two Blazers on One Play
If there was ever a question about how Blake Griffin would perform after missing 41 games with a broken hand, they were silenced Sunday... with one insane play.
When the Los Angeles Clippers' star power forward had Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard on a mismatch in the post, he plowed over the point guard and threw down a left-handed dunk over Blazers' 6-foot-11 center, Mason Plumlee.
Ugh! Take that, take that!
Looks like all's well in Lob City.
Remember, Griffin was just about to return from a partially torn left quadriceps tendon when he punched the Clippers assistant equipment manager during an altercation and broke his hand, needing surgery and four to six weeks to recover. That latter ordeal turned him into the butt of social media's jokes for a while.
But if he keeps delivering plays like this and if the Clippers could continue to advance deep into the postseason, nobody is going to be laughing anymore.
After taking Game 1, the Clippers will host the Trail Blazers in Game 2 on Wednesday night. Let's see what Blake does next.
