ScHoolBoy Q Debuts Oxymoron Cover Art
ScHoolyBoy Q's Oxymoron cover art hit the 'Net late Monday (Jan. 20), courtesy of the TDE rapper and label president, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith.
Visuals for the LP's standard and deluxe editions were tweeted out along with a link to pre-order the release on iTunes. The first cover features Q's young daughter Joy mimicking her dad's look, complete with his signature bucket hat, while the second shows the 27-year-old Cali native donning a white ski mask (and of course, the bucket hat).
Incorporating his daughter is a running theme for Q. Little Joy also helped him debut the February 25 release date. "That's my baby, that's what my album really is about," he told BET.com last month. "I don't have no songs that are especially dedicated to her, but I wanted to try and be, like, corny, because I always said it was always about my daughter."
TDE is encouraging fans to "support Oxymoron" by switching their Twitter avatars to the album art work.
As of this morning, pre-orders pushed the release to No. 1 on the iTunes hip hop charts, trumping Eminem's The Marhsall Mathers LP 2, Ty Dolla $ign's Beach House and Drake's Nothing Was the Same.
