True or Nah: Megapastor Creflo Dollar Claimed Trump Is 'Touched By the Hand of God'?
Did Donald Trump score a major endoresement in the Black community? According to reports, Atlanta preacher Creflo Dollar allegedly stated his support for the reviled Republican candidate.
“God came to me in a dream last night and said that Trump is his chosen candidate,” Dollar reportedly said, according to WordOnDaStreet.com. “God apologized for the mixed messages he was sending. I now know that Trump has been touched by the hand of God."
According to the same report, he even went so far as to compare Trump to John the Baptist. “Trump is like John the Baptist, sent to prepare the world for the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ," he added.
Well, Twitter is roasting Creflo for pulling an Anthony Mackie:
Well, turns out Trump is back where he started with the Black vote. The pastor released a statement on Thursday morning to debunk the rumor. "Any reports stating that I have endorsed Donald Trump for President are false. I have not endorsed any candidate and do not plan to. This rumor originated on a satirical website and is 100% untrue."
And that's The Word.
