Dressed to impress while attending her first official royal engagement alongside new fiancé Prince Harry in Nottingham last Friday (Dec 1.), camera's couldn't stop flashing due to the 36-year-old's beauty and chic style. 

Poised with influence, Meghan carried a $880 midi leather tote by Scottish label Strathberry, which quickly sold out in just minutes.

While many couldn't wait to get their hands on the stylish bag, etiquette expert William Hanson told the Daily Mail in January: “The Duchess of Cambridge may well prefer not to shake hands with certain people — but there are other ways to achieve this, as used by The Queen and other members of the royal family, than opting for a clutch over a bag with a strap.”

So that's why we've always seen Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Princess Diana with clutches!

He continued, “It is protocol that you do not extend your hand to any member of the royal family (blood royal or those who have married into the family) unless their hand extends first.”
