UPDATE: So, it turns out that Gilbert Arenas can exercise some chill after all. Well... kind of.

After an April recording in which the former NBA All-Star can be heard telling his ex, Laura Govan, "F*** you and them kids," hit the iInternet on Monday, Arenas took to his Instagram account to apologize and to attempt to explain himself.

Well, damn, Gil! 

Whatever the true story is between his and Laura's war of the exes, we sincerely hope they keep trying to put their four children first for the sake of their co-parenting relationship.

Don't ever curse your kids again like that, man. Not a good look at all.

PREVIOUSLY: Gilbert Arenas dragged his ex Laura Govan's cooking for all of the internet to see this past April.

And just last week, the former NBA All-Star shooting guard used an old Martin episode on IG to roast Govan over her allegedly owing him $3 million for lawyer fees and damages.

So, we already know that No Chill Gil gives zero F's whatsoever when it comes to his baby mama, who he shares four kids with.

That being said, Gilbert might have really crossed the line this time. Like, severely.

Part of a leaked rumored conversation between the scorned exes from this past April has Arenas enraged to the point that he tells Govan, "F*** you and them kids!"

Are you serious, Gilbert? It's one thing to spew hate towards your baby mama, but the kids too?

For exercising negative-100 chill, Gilbert earned himself Donkey of the Day honors from Charlamagne Tha God on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club on Monday.

How can you curse out your OWN kids, man? Even if you let your anger get the best of you, how do you fix your face to let those words come out of your mouth?

You already know that Gilbert enjoys making a joke every now and then at his own kids' expense, as evidenced this past weekend.

He looks every bit of the doting dad, driving his kids around here, but how could he have ever said such a vile thing?

Come on, man. No matter how bad it gets between you and Laura, your kids are supposed to be the silver lining in that messy equation.

Do and say what's right about them at all times, even though you could care less about her.

They're your kids, Gil!
