Cee Lo Green has won over audiences the world over with hit records and a hit TV show, but according to a new report, the singer and judge of NBC's The Voice is suspected by LAPD of a dark, criminal act.
TMZ reports that Green is being investigated by police after a woman claimed he sexually assaulted her. Details of the assault have not been made public, nor has the identity of the woman, but Cee Lo isn't wasting any time issuing a strong, clear denial.
Police reportedly have been questioning workers at a restaurant in downtown LA in connection with the incident, although it's not clear where the alleged assault took place. Cee Lo says he hasn't been to the restaurant in question in three months and that "nothing ever happened there or anywhere else."
At this point, even the vague details of the alleged assault are just police conjecture based on the claims of the unnamed woman. No charges have been filed and there are no prosecutors yet on the case.
