[Watch] It's a Miracle: High School Senior With Cerebral Palsy Walks Across the Stage to Get His Diploma

This is the most incredible thing you'll see today.

High school graduation is a big moment for all students, but for Micah McDade, his graduation at Okmulgee High School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma marked more than just one life-changing transition. The young man, who suffers from cerebral palsy got up out of his wheelchair and walked across the stage.

In the months leading up to the ceremony, McDade practiced and prepared for the physically demanding task. When McDade's name was called, he wheeled himself to the stage and, to the shock of his classmates, stood up.

With the help of a walker, McDade was able to make it across the stage and accept his diploma to screams of joy and applause from fellow students, and the audience.

Micah's parents, Mark and Anisa McDade, told the Okmulgee News Network they could not be more proud of their son.

McDade had reportedly undergone multiple surgeries and physical therapy in an effort to walk, despite doctors telling him it was a long shot. But McDade proved the doubters wrong on what will surely be one of the most memorable nights of his, his family's and his classmates' lives.
