Country Music Artist Mickey Guyton Asks for Prayers as 9-Month-Old Son Is Sent to ICU
Mickey Guyton is asking for your prayers.
The 37-year-old country music star took to Twitter last night (Nov. 18), sharing that her 9-month-old son, Grayson, had been rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU.
“I normally don‘t do this, but my son is being sent to the ICU,” Mickey tweeted. “The doctors don’t know what’s wrong. Please, please pray.”
The “Black Like Me” singer, who shares her young son with her husband, Grant Savoy, welcomed Grayson in February — making it only six months since she broke the news of her pregnancy via Instagram post back in August 2020. In the post, you can tell she’s excited about the journey of motherhood.
“I’m so excited to have announced I'm having a baby!” she wrote alongside a sonogram photo. “My life completely changed in an instant. Literally, nothing else matters. I'm so excited and terrified at the same time. I have no idea what I am doing but am so thankful that God chose me to be this baby's mom.”
There has been an outpouring of fan support since she posted the news on social media however there has not been official word on the child’s diagnosis as of yet.
