A Drake fan got the surprise of her life recently. Dee grabbed the mic at Saddle Ranch on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles to perform a karaoke rendition of the Rihanna song “What’s My Name” — and then she nearly lost it when Drake joined her on stage. She explains what happened in her YouTube video comments: “all I said was can someone sing the Drake part with me, then he shows up! I felt great :)”
It was a shock to all when the emcee to the stage to voice his part on the song. Drake laughed as she shouted, “Thank you, Santa!” for the holiday gift. She did a great job keeping her composure, singing and dancing to the track as Drake looked on and danced in his seat. They punctuated the performance with a big hug.
Lil Jon was reportedly in the audience as well.
