Drake Reportedly Had A Response To Pusha T That 'Would Have Ended His Career'

"I know for a fact that it would’ve been bad for Kanye and my man."

If you were wondering why Rap-A-Lot Records CEO and Drake OG confidante J Prince called a halt on the Young Money rapper’s beef with Pusha T after the latter’s vicious “Story of Adidon” diss track, it will all make sense after his latest revelation.

J has kept an open-door policy on his interference with the two rappers’ fiery hip-hop beef, but revealed to Sway in the Morning that if it were to go any further, not only would King Push’s reign be over, but his career also.

“I saw this going to a place that I feel would have ended his career if Drake would’ve put out this song that he had on him,” he said.

J said that a lot of people stood the risk of being hurt, such as families and such. He didn’t want to see anyone be reduced to that level, or enter the “pig pen” as he deemed it. He even cited Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac’s fatal rap feud that’s notoriously linked to their untimely deaths, which he likened Drizzy and Pusha’s beef to should it go any further into such contemptible territory.

He didn’t spill any details on the name of Drake’s alleged venomous song or what sort of lyrical bombs Drizzy dropped on Push, especially those which might lead to said career termination. From what J heard of the record though, he said, things could get very ugly very fast, and for more than just one person.

“Oh, no doubt about it,” he answered to Sway about the response. “The ingredients were overwhelming. I know for a fact that it would’ve been bad for Kanye and my man. It wouldn’t have been good. It's beyond music at that point. It's going to affect the livelihood, it's going to interfere with his entire lifestyle from that day forward."

According to J, the track will never see the light of day, however, after Drake gave him his word that he would not release it. But the fans have to see it (or hear it, rather) to believe this one.
