Louisiana native La’Ron Hines went viral last year with his TikTok segment titled “Are You Smarter Than a Preschooler,” featuring the adorable children at the daycare run by his parents. Hines gained a following of over 9 million on the popular social media app asking the children all sorts of random questions about the world they usually don’t know the answers to, which makes for a hilarious yet authentic moment.
Making millions of people laugh online earned him a nomination for “Outstanding Social Media Personality” at the 2022 NAACP Image Awards taking place on Saturday, February 26 at 8/9c, hosted by Anthony Anderson.
