So, if you recall the ending of last week’s episode, then you remember that Fatima’s mom pulled up and caught Zac with Deja in his arms. It was innocent on Zac’s part, but Deja is always playing games. Eventually, Fatima pulls up and finds Zac and her mom standing outside in the aftermath. Mom explains that she was worried about her daughter and is now taken aback to learn that not only does Fatima live with Zac, but that she was dating anyone at all. Fatima’s mom is definitely on the smug and bourgeois side of things, so she’s leery of Zac, and makes that clear, but she still invites the two of them to dinner anyway. That is where Zac will meet Fatima’s stepfather, and from the looks of things, that probably won’t go well.

Later on, after mom is gone, Fatima gets dolled up and decides to go out with Angela. Fatima is really just there to drink, but Angela decides to get drunk and meet some boys. Back at home, Zac first considers hanging out with his boys too, but that doesn’t work out. Then, he thinks about getting into the side chick, literally. You remember the side chick, right? That toy Fatima got him. He changes his mind and resigns himself to a night of boredom only to be disturbed by Deja blasting some freaky music. First, he calls her to tell her to turn the music down and she’s being all dramatic, talking about how she needs help to turn it down.

You’d think that Zac wouldn’t be dumb enough to take the bait again, but he does. He heads next door and finds her on her couch in a robe. It’s also really hot and once he asks her why it’s so hot, she starts taking her robe off. He leaves but ends up back over at her place later on. This time she calls him, once again sounding distressed, and asks him to come back over to help her. Once he gets there, he finds her in the tub.

See where this is going? Anyway, she starts pushing up on him again and also tells him to look at her phone. Basically, one of her friends took a picture of Fatima at the club allegedly with another guy. It’s probably the guy that Angela met who offered to drop them off at home but we don’t know for sure. Zac looks disturbed, but we know he hasn’t been the most rational lately and we end the episode with him leaning over the tub, looking into Deja’s eyes. It’s not clear which way this is going to go but sometimes people do silly things when they’re in an emotional state.
