The Rock Has The Best Reaction To Idris Elba's Introduction To The 'Fast And The Furious' Spin-Off, And Twitter Erupts
The action movie pairing movie fans didn't know they needed is already in production with Idris Elba recently sharing a photo of his work on Hobbs & Shaw, the upcoming spin-off to the Fast and the Furious franchise, with Dwayne Johnson.
Taking to Instagram, Johnson posted a photo of a scene from the forthcoming film which featured Elba in a shooting stance decked out in battle gear.
In the supporting caption, he sang the actor's praises and welcoming him to the Fast & Furious family.
"I learned a long time ago (when I was a very sinful eyebrow raising villainous man in the crazy world of pro wrestling;) that heroes are only as great as their greatest villains," he wrote, in reference to Elba's character. "A pleasure to introduce the man himself @idriselba we brought in to our Fast & Furious franchise to wreak havoc, hell and mayhem on our heroes HOBBS & SHAW."
