Glee’s Darren Criss Apologizes to Beyoncé

The Warbler doesn’t think he did her song justice.

No word on whether Beyoncé is a Gleek, but Darren Criss—who plays Kurt’s boyfriend, Blaine, on the hit Fox series, Glee—feels kind of bad about his cover of Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills.”
“I feel like I have to write her an apology now,” he told Access Hollywood. “I mean, come on, Beyoncé’s the queen of pop music. She’s the queen. If you could run for queen… I would put her name in the suggestion box. She’s incredible. I tried to do it as best as I could.”
The a cappella cover appears on Glee: The Music Presents The Warblers, which was released on Tuesday. Watch a clip of the song here.
