It's not everyday that one receives (or wants) a present from President-elect Donald Trump.

But if you're Kanye West, you can expect one that might leave you awkwardly puzzled. 

Posting a photo of it to his Twitter, the rather narcissistic gift was none other than the highly-controversial Time magazine with Donald Trump plastered front and center for its annual "Person of the Year" issue. Written on the front in silver writing was a message for Ye as well.

“To Kanye, you are a great friend,” he wrote, with an underlined “great.” “Thanks.”

After West’s media-drenched meetup with Trump at the New York City Trump Tower, such a comment should come as no surprise since Trump did tell reporters that Yeezy was a “longtime friend” of his. The blond-haired Yeezy, who made little comment, contentedly flicked photos with Trump and later addressed the meeting via Twitter.

We can’t help but to wonder what sort of presents the Trump family will be unwrapping at Christmas this year.
