Here's Every Beauty Product We Know Meghan Markle Uses
There's a new "London look" in town, sweeties, and it's called the Markle Sparkle! That's right — with last week's announcement that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged to be married, the media has been aflutter about the impending Royal wedding and every last detail that will go into it.
And of course, since optics matter, one aspect that hasn't gone unnoticed: just how gosh darn beauteous the girl is. Like, name a better potential princess...we'll wait. Everything from her style to her hair to her ring has now been disseminated into blogs (not unlike this one) that examine the future royal's appearance in great detail. But like we said, the girl is gorgeous, so we kinda get it.
While Markle's very own "London look" may not include a gap, her fresh-faced glam is already having a huge effect on the beauty market. Case in point: it was recently reported that Meghan's nose is the most oft-requested rhinoplasty procedure. While on one hand concerning, the last face that made headlines for copycat procedures was that of Ivanka Trump, so we'll take it.
But there are far easier, less expensive and impermanent methods by which you can dial up your very own "Markle Sparkle." Meghan is all about effortless glam, and you can totally bite her style without making a plastic surgery consultation.
For example, let's start with brows, shall we? If your eyes are the window to your soul, your brows are like the window treatments for the window to your soul, or something. Basically, they're very important. And Miss Meghan, as such, takes them very seriously. So much so that she borrows her shape from fellow Hollywood starlet Audrey Hepburn.
After relocating to the UK earlier this month, Meg has been a staple at Mayfair salon Nails & Brows where she receives the "full Audrey" — a combination of waxing, threading and tweezing. What better way to assimilate to British culture? It was, after all, British model Cara Delevingne's eyebrows that set off the big brow trend back in 2013. Meghan's brow transformation has completely changed her look — as you can see here.
When it comes to products, Meghan is actually pretty low-maintenance — for a soon-to-be-princess, at least! Taking a cue from the wellness sphere, she recommends facial exercises to help her circulation keep on circulating and reduce puffiness. (Yes, facial yoga is real and it is life-changing. See for yourself, here.) To keep her hair looking healthy, Kerastase's famous mask is her go-to. Another celeb-fave, YSL's Touche-Eclat concealer, keeps her looking peppy at ungodly hours. She recommends strategically applying foundation in only places that need it with a Beauty Blender. For lips, she's all about Fresh's Sugar Lip Treatment, which, we, too, can confirm is bomb.
Try your hand at the "Markle Sparkle" and, who knows, maybe some of Meghan's royal glow-up will rub off on you!
