Torrei Hart: Kevin Hart 'Should Just Be Honest' About Cheating
Kevin Hart and his ex-wife, Torrei Hart, have been role models for civil celebrity divorces, but even the friendly exes are prone to verbal jabs once in a while. Torrei unleashed a big one on the Real Husbands of Hollywood star on Wednesday, claiming in an interview that Hart started his relationship with girlfriend Eniko Parrish before they had separated. In an open letter posted to Instagram, Torrei says she wants her ex to "just be honest" about cheating with Parrish so they could both heal.
"Despite what [Kevin] has said and the time frames he is trying to establish Eniko Parrish was his mistress and was one of the reasons that broke up my family," she writes. "I have more proof but Kevin should just be honest for both of our healing. I want @kevinhart4real and I to be friends like he portrays we are to the media."
Still, in spite of her accusations, Torrei seems to have a lot of praise for her ex. "@kevinhart4real has been my biggest inspiration I’ve watched him from the beginning he is the hardest working man I know," she says. "From his stand up to his tv shows he’s used my personal life as his main story line. So at this place in my career I know he is one of the reason doors are opening up for me. And I am grateful to him for that. And we both have been blessings to each other in that area."
Hart took to Twitter on Wednesday to defend his reputation and his girlfriend, but kept it classy as usual. "Here’s what’s sad, My Ex wife is the mother of my 2 beautiful kids & is well taken care of. I go above & beyond what the court ordered me to do. Because she is the mother of my kids, I would never slander her name or anybody that she’s dealing with," he states. "For her to continue to talk about my woman is honestly sad, especially after 5 years of us being together & a total of 6 1/2 years from me leaving her."
He continues, "With that being said don’t believe the hype people, I’ve been separated & divorced for a long time now people. I’ve moved on with my life. My woman has nothing to do with my past marriage problems in any way shape or form."
Hart goes on to say he wishes the best for his ex and supports her new relationship. As for his somewhat emo Twitter rant? Hart claims he was under the influence while he was tweeting. "P.S I was listening to Drake’s album while I was tweeting all that stuff….lmfao. That s--t made me emotional lmfao."
