Disgusting Deal: Woman Sold Out Two Little Girls to Pedophile for Cash
There's a special place in hell for people like this.
In a disturbing case, prosecutors in New Jersey say a man named Alfredo Rosales paid a Philadelphia woman named Esperanza Mani-Cortez to allow him to sexually assault two young girls for six years. Each faces three counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts each of sexual assault and child endangerment, as well as one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault.
The Bergen County prosecutors said they discovered that 51-year-old Rosales was engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old and 12-year-old girl and it's been going on since they were 8 and 6, respectively.
Police told NJ1015 that they found Rosales with the 14-year-old in question when they confronted him over the weekend. They added that the 12-year-old was not present at the time and it is unknown what the girls' relationship to each other is.
It is believed that Rosales has been sexually assaulting the two victims since 2010. Still unknown is Mani-Cortez's relation to the children, but she allegedly made the two victims available in return for "financial compensation."
Both alleged criminals are being held at Bergen County Jail and have had to surrender their passports. They are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
