Cold: A 'Basketball Wives' Star Just Took Her Ex-Husband for Everything He's Got
This seems to be the reason for reality show couple breakups, and while Malaysia Pargo's divorce from her NBA baller ex has been in the works for a while, it was just announced that the Basketball Wives star hit the jackpot in her settlement.
According to Bossip, Malaysia scored a ridiculously huge payday in her divorce from Jannero Pargo. The documents show that Malaysia — whose real name is Laquisha — will get half of her ex's NBA player's pension and half of his 401K savings plan, but that's not all.
A judge also approved on April 12 that she will get a 2015 Mercedes Benz G550, all rights to the company 3 Beats LLC, and access to three checking accounts, in addition to a money market account.
On top of what she was awarded in the divorce settlement, Malaysia will continue to receive $14,580 in child support payments from Jannero for the couple's three children, plus $800 for child care.
The reality star didn't get everything though. Jannero still got to keep another 2015 Mercedes Benz G550, the profits from the sale of a New Orleans property, the rest of his 401K and pension plans and two of his checking accounts.
After all was said and done, Malaysia even agreed to look for and return his "black diamond watch" and "black diamond chain."
The documents also stated that they both would get to keep any furniture, jewelry and money they've made since their 2014 separation. They were married for 10 years prior to their split.
