Trump Liked A Tweet About Rihanna’s Work-Life Balance – And All Of Twitter Is Confused

The president has only liked eight tweets from his personal account, and the superstar previously called his rallies "tragic."

In the 10 years that he’s been on Twitter, Donald Trump has only ever liked eight tweets. While the tweets he favorites usually go unnoticed, his recent liking of a Rihanna-centered tweet had many scratching their heads.

During a sit-down interview for Interview magazine, Rihanna told actress Sarah Paulson about how she maintains a healthy work-life balance.

“Just like I nurture my businesses, I need to nurture [personal time] as well,” Rihanna told Paulson. “I’ll shut things down for two days, three days at a time. On my calendar we now have the infamous ‘P,’ which means personal days. This is a new thing.”

The interview resonated with many people, including writer and podcaster Heben Nigatu, who tweeted a screenshot of that particular quote from the interview on June 10.

  • The next day, the Twitter page @TrumpsAlert, which tracks the Twitter activity of the Trump family, revealed Donald Trump liked Nigatu’s tweet.

  • Which left people puzzled and recalling the time Rihanna told Donald Trump to stop playing her music at his “tragic rallies.”

  • Some Rihanna stans didn’t know if Trump’s tweet also made him part of the Rihanna Navy.

  • Whereas others just assumed he liked the tweet because all he does in the White House is take “personal time.”

  • Meanwhile, Nigatu appeared to be equally stunned by the entire ordeal.
