What happens when the person you looked up to isn't who they seem to be? When Woody (Michael Rainey Jr.), a young boy, spends a day with his Uncle Vincent (Common), he begins to find out the true nature of his business — some of which can get them both in trouble with the law.

As their day progresses, Woody struggles to figure out if he has "luv" or resentment for the fatherlike figure whom he has developed a connection with.
