Vanessa Williams joins the long line of celebrities targeted by the Internal Revenue Service. The Ugly Betty star is in hot water with the agency for owing $370,000 in back taxes, Page Six reports.
The IRS has put a lien on Williams's accounts until she clears her bill, stemming from her 2011 personal income tax return. The former Miss America already missed the November 2012 due date on the bill.
Hopefully Williams will avoid the fate suffered by Lauryn Hill and Wesley Snipes, who both had to spend time behind bars for failure to pay Uncle Sam.
