Music Matters Stars to Perform Grammys Showcase
BET is celebrating the Grammy-nominated acts on the Music Matters roster with a special event in Beverly Hills, Calif., ahead of the award ceremony on Sunday.
The Music Matters Showcase: Grammy Edition 2015 is set to feature performances from nominees Mali Music, Luke James and Antonique Smith, along with Avery Wilson of The Voice fame, and a special appearance from gospel singer/songwriter Kierra Sheard.
Music Matters set will be a pre-celebration for our stars as they prepare for the Grammys. Smith is up for the Best Traditional R&B Performance Grammy for “Hold Up Wait a Minute,” while James is nominated in the Best R&B Song category for “Options (Wolfjames version)," and Mali snagged a Best Urban Contemporary Album nomination for Mali Is. He's also up for Best Gospel Performance/Song for “I Believe.”
The BET Music Matters showcase goes down at 7 p.m. on Feb. 6, at the House of Music and Entertainment (H.O.M.E.).
