The Reason Drake Canceled His Amsterdam Show Is So... Drake
Yesterday (March 27) news broke that Drake had made the less-than-popular decision to cancel one of his tour dates in Amsterdam. However, considering the cancellation marks the rapper's third in the Netherlands capital, this personal call angered fans to the point of throwing things on stage and taking to social media to hurl expletives at the 6 God.
Sources said that the choice was made because Drizzy was feeling under the weather, and now that more details have surfaced one can't help but crack a little smile. As it turns out, the reason why he canceled the show is lightheartedly in line with his reputation as one of the softest rappers in the game.
While those of us who have experienced food poisoning know firsthand it is anything but pleasant, it still makes for a story that we all can laugh about later. (Cue Amy Schumer's recent Netflix comedy special as further evidence.)
As it turns out, even Drake has gone down that unfortunate road, as sources close to the rapper said that Drizzy ate some bad sushi and had to call the show off as a result.
While pre-gaming his show with the beloved Japanese cuisine is something that sounds very lovely — and very Drake — we're sorry to hear the meal took a turn for the worse.
Drake is reportedly promising to make it up to his fans in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
