Tyrese Gibson’s custody battle over his daughter Shayla has been trying, however some good news is coming the actor/singer’s way.

According to TMZ, both sides of the case agreed that Tyrese be allowed a monitored visit with his 10-year-old daughter on Sunday (October 29). The existing restraining order was reportedly modified to allow for the six-hour visit.

While it’s good news, it isn’t overturning Norma Gibson’s decision to get a permanent restraining order against Tyrese. Apparently, the court has decided no testimony will happen next week.

Tyrese hasn’t seen Shayla for two months. Hopefully this will be a time of reprieve for him and possibly, a step in the right direction for this bizarre saga.
