T.I.’s Lawyer Barred From Arguing Case \r \r \r
T.I. has no defense against the power of federal prison authorities. The Atlanta rapper has been forced to face his latest incident with the Federal Bureau of Prisons alone after his legal team was told that they have no ground to challenge the decision to send the hip hop star back to prison.
According to TMZ, Tip’s defense team received a letter from the feds explaining that the troublesome star was “not entitled to legal counsel” during the review process of the decision to send him back to prison after only one night in a halfway home.
As previously reported, T.I. was sent back to prison after he breached terms of his early release by having unauthorized guests travel with him on a lavish tour bus ride from Arkansas’ Forrest City Correctional Facility. The Rubber Band Man was set free in late August and ordered to finish the last month of his 11-month sentence in a halfway home.
Since his return to prison two hearings have been held to review the decision; Tip’s lawyers were not present for either session.
