World War Z was one of the surprise hits of the summer box office and now the zombie thriller starring Brad Pitt is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray. The film, directed by Monster's Ball helmer Marc Forster, follows Pitt as he scrambles to stop an apocalypse of the undead and save humanity. The film got positive reviews for solid performances and spectacular visual effects sequences. Forster told BET.com back in June, "I wanted to do something that feels real and intense. What you see on the screen is a product of all of that."  
The DVD special features include an unrated cut of the film (with even more flesh-eating zombies) complete with alternate ending, a behind-the-scenes featurette and a short documentary about zombies in literature and film.
