Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak Seen Holding Hands Again In Aspen

The artists reportedly collaborated during sessions at New York’s Electric Lady Studios over the summer.

Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak have caused a stir while visiting Aspen during the holidays.

According to People, the artists were seen holding hands while leaving the local Mediterranean seafood restaurant Duemani, just one week after being hand in hand at nearby eatery Catch Steak. Although dating rumors between Carey and Paak have been shot down, fans have been curious about their connection, as the two reportedly collaborated during recording sessions at New York’s Electric Lady Studios in June. Also present during the meetup were Carey’s 13-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, whom the singer-songwriter shares with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon. The ex-spouses divorced in 2016 after eight years of marriage.

Carey hinted at a collaboration with .Paak in an interview with “Vogue” to commemorate the 25th anniversary of her seventh album, “Rainbow.”

"I’ve actually been working this whole week in the studio with someone who shall remain nameless, but I’m so excited about that. The next album is happening and coming soon, so be patient," she told the publication.

Months after linking at Electric Lady Studios, Carey and Paak attended a Halloween-themed party at the latter’s West Hollywood bar, Andys, where the “Why Lawd?” artist was dressed like a member of Daft Punk. At the same time, Carey went full feline in a catsuit and matching ears.

Paak and his estranged wife, Jaylyn Chang, are parents to sons Soul Rasheed, 13, and Shine Tariq, 7. After 13 years of marriage, Paak filed for divorce from Chang in January.
