Guests expecting to celebrate the couple's birthdays Saturday were surprised when Mike Tyson and his wife, Lakiha Spicer, appeared in wedding outfits to renew their vows instead.

Before the event, Tyson tweeted, "My wife & I are getting ready to host friends & family tonight. Many we haven't seen in years. It's going to be a great night."

After hundreds of guests arrived at the M Resort in Las Vegas, the couple ran off to change and re-emerged to perform a traditional Muslim ceremony. Afterwards, they partied to a live band in the hotel's ballroom.

Tyson and Lakiha married in 2009 in a small wedding chapel in Las Vegas. Because Tyson's four-year-old daughter, Exodus, had passed away just ten days prior to the ceremony, the couple decided against a celebration. Renewing their vows was meant to make up for the previous low-key event.
