Leave it to Adrien Broner to let his post-fight comments overshadow his in-ring performance…and then try to adjust his remarks.

"I love all Mexicans," Broner told TMZ on May 5, which is Cinco de Mayo, a day of Mexican celebration. "[Carlos] Molina put up a hard fight."

Broner wasn’t as gracious to Molina nor the Mexican community following his victory Saturday night. Fresh off scoring a 10-round unanimous decision over Molina as part of the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana undercard at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Broner made headlines and drew the ire of the Mexican community with some out-of-line remarks.

“It was a sparring match on TV,” Broner began ranting to Showtime’s Jim Gray. “[First professional loss to Maidana] definitely humbled me in some ways, but at the end of the day I’m still Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner — The ‘can’ man. Anybody can get it — Afri-cans…I just beat the f--- out of a Mexi-can.”

As Gray implored Broner to “show some class and dignity,” a chorus of boos came raining down on the cocky boxer.

One can argue that Broner’s disrespectful comments overshadowed his successful comeback from a punishing December 2013 loss to Maidana.

Before exiting the ring Saturday night, Broner did tell Gray that he’s eyeing Manny Pacquiao as his next opponent.

“I don’t make my fights,” Broner said. “I’m just a fighter, but I will fight anybody and I want to fight Pacquiao before he leaves.”
