Diddy Gets 75K to Host Afterparty

After a few New York venues refused the rapper's offer, a New Jersey club agrees to pay him the big bucks.

A party ain't a a party if Diddy don't run through it. That's why the rapper/music mogul is getting $75,000 for an appearance at a New Jersey club following his New York show. The Diddy Dirty Money "Coming Home" tour arrives in NYC today (April 22) for a gig at the Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom.

Though several venues in New York City refused to pay Mr. Combs his asking fee, Club 4 Sixty 6 in West Orange, New Jersey, has signed an agreement with Diddy to host. As part of the deal, Diddy will get to use a new Bentley continental GT for the evening and will receive a private helicopter ride across the Hudson.

Previous reports claimed that Diddy's hosting price was $45,000. One source told the New York Post, "After the cost was revealed, we were not in the running. We were running away."
