Payless Finessed Influencers Into Paying Hundreds For Their Shoes By Changing Its Name To Palessi

All the kids who grew up getting teased for wearing Payless shoes just got the ultimate payback.
Payless recently took over an old Armani store, renamed it Palessi, and invited many fashion influencers to a launch party.
At the event, the fashion experts laughed, sipped champagne, and gushed over the shoes that were marked up 1,800 percent from their $19.99 to $39.99 price point.
The bloggers even went on camera and admitted they would pay upwards to $1,000 for the shoes, not knowing they were Payless brand
One of the shoppers paid as much as $645 before they were told they just dropped some serious bread on Payless shoes.
"Shut up! Are you serious?" they exclaimed.
All of the pranked shoppers got their money back and were allowed to keep the shoes for free.
Needless to say people on Twitter gave Payless their due props for the incredible finesse
One person even said the person who came up with the idea deserves a serious raise
