Jermaine Dupri Goes TF Off About His Involvement With The Super Bowl...
Well, well, well, it seems like So So Def mogul, Jermaine Dupri, is fed the f**k up with ill-mannered internet trolls and has no problem making it known.
Next year’s Super Bowl will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and has fans are still in uproar for a slew of reasons. Political activist Colin Kaepernick is still out of a job as a football player and it was rumored that pop-rock group, Maroon 5 was set to perform during the highly-coveted halftime slot. The internet was set ablaze when Bronx phenom Cardi B was announced as a short-list contender to make a guest appearance, but many, including the “Bodak Yellow” femcee, have turned down the guest spot. Rapper-turned-reality star Waka Flocka even stepped with a better and widely acceptable list of candidates who fans would love to see killing the halftime stage.
As the self-proclaimed “Mayor” of the ATL, Dupri stepped up to the plate to ensure that the festivities taking place in his beloved city will done right, but not everyone saw it that way. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Ok let’s get this straight, all y’all hitting me talking bout I’m disrespecting the black race by being involve with activities during super bowl...”
"FOH!! I’m not your scapegoat," he continued as he took his sentiments to Instagram
Dupri felt the need to get involved due to a seemingly, overwhelming demand from fans to make sure their favorite artists were included. One fan reacted saying, "Bruh, just admit that you need the money and keep it pushing. No need to blame other artists for your decision."
Dupri clapped right back. "You ni**as really don't understand my relationship with my city. Sh*t ain't got nothing to do with money."
Many agreed and flooded social media in his defense.
