The Internet Has Thoughts About Christina Aguilera's Upcoming Tribute to Whitney Houston
This year marks five years since the loss of gospel’s vocal divinity and soul legend Whitney Houston, a timely mark for a tribute from the American Music Awards.
Crowned with 22 awards during the stretch of her iconic music career and before her February 2012 death, Whitney left behind eternal influence on each generation in her legacy and all of music’s most gifted vocalists who idolized her. Multi-Grammy Award winning songstress Christina Aguilera happens to be one of them, and the AMAs just snatched up her and her pipes to take on such a heavy tribute. Performing tracks from a big screen gem of Whitney’s acting career, The Bodyguard, which reaches its 25th anniversary this year, Aguilera will also be introduced by actress icon Viola Davis.
But the Internet and Christina fans have reached a crossroads on the AMAs’ tribute pick, and they're hashing it out accordingly.
As expected, Xtina fans are all the way here for the tribute
