In a new public service announcement unveiled today, First Lady Michelle Obama and Lawrence Lawson, valedictorian of Baltimore's New Era Academy, encourage students to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to help fund their college educations. The campaign is sponsored by Viacom and the Get Schooled Foundation.

"FAFSA is quick, it's easy, it's free, and it can help students access thousands of dollars to help them and their families pay for college," says Obama, "Almost everyone is eligible for some form of financial aid; all they have to do is access that aid is fill out the FAFSA form. It's simple. That's my message for students all across the country; fill out those forms."

The PSA was taped at a FAFSA workshop attended by the first lady and Education Secretary Arne Duncan at TC Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia.

Students who use the hashtag #FAFSA and @GetSchooled from Feb. 12-17 or retweet @GetSchooled will be entered to win one of ten $1,000 scholarships.
