Offset was reportedly involved in a car crash in Atlanta early Thursday morning (May 17) and police are interested as to why he left the scene of the accident.

Following the accident, the Migos rapper was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He has reportedly been released and video actually shows him already back in the studio.

Police have opened an investigation into why Offset bolted as they were called to the scene by someone other than him. According to TMZ, law enforcement was called after a passerby saw the wreck. When cops arrived they found the vehicle abandoned and called a tow truck.

Cardi B, his fiance who is currently pregnant with their first child, took to Twitter after she joined him at the hospital and found out he was doing well.

“Sooo grateful and happy today,” She tweeted. “God be giving messages in the weirdest way. I love you @OffsetYRN.”

Offset has not yet commented on the accident publicly. Interestingly, ttems from Offset’s vehicle were removed by one of two people who pulled up to the scene before it was towed.
