Dr. Dre Files Lawsuit Against Death Row Records

Dr. Dre wants his money. The former Death Row co-owner is filing a lawsuit against his old company, which is currently owned by WIDEawake Entertainment Group, after not seeing a penny from the label for the release of several projects he created during his tenure with the imprint.

Though he parted ways with Death Row back in 1996, Dre has been carefully observing the profits being made from the digital sales of his 92 solo debut, “The Chronic” and the 2009 release, “The Chronic: Re-Lit” which featured a DVD and unreleased material from Dr. Dre.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Dre is suing WIDEawake/Death Row Records for $75,000. Representatives from the company have yet to comment on the matter.
