Waka Flocka Flame's Security Banned from North Carolina
Waka Flocka Flame is scheduled to tour in North Carolina this month, but the Brick Squad rapper has received an unusual demand from the Tar Heel State regarding his performance: absolutely no security team.
The North Carolina Protective Services Board has sent Waka's people a cease-and-desist letter informing them that they are not allowed to travel with a security detail while in state lines, TMZ reports. Why? Because last year when Waka toured in North Carolina, his security guards got into a parking lot shootout that led to two arrests.
Now the Protective Services Board is banning Waka's guards on the grounds that they're not licensed with the state. If the rapper shows up with security, they're promising to press charges.
Insisting that he has a right to protect himself, Waka is reportedly looking into his legal options.
