LOL: This Singer Thinks She’s The Real Reason Nicki Minaj And Cardi B Brawled
By now, if you haven't heard about the notorious brawl that Nicki Minaj and Cardi B got into at the Harper's Bazaar ICONS Party during New York Fashion Week, then you've clearly been living under a rock. Between the wall of bodyguards, flying shoes, Cardi being elbowed in the face and Nicki walking out without a scratch on her, things definitely got ugly.
Cardi instantaneously issued an iOS press release about the ordeal.
'I've let a lot of sh*t slide. I address and you copped the plea... B****es talk all that sh*t in they raps, but in real life they p***y,' said the Bronx femcee
Things escalated when Nicki took to her now-infamous platform, Queen Radio, in an indignant tirade in attempts to dethrone the leader of the Bardi Gang. Nicki stated that the incident was humiliating, but Cardi is the one who "built her career off of sympathy and payola." Ending her rant by reminding bystanders that "if you put your hands on certain people, you gon' die — period."
Cardi fired back by allowing her success to speak for itself while simultaneously reminding Barbs that "if a b*tch beef with [her], [they] gon' beef foreva."
However, pop star Christina Aguilera had some thoughts of her own about the fight heard 'round the world...
X-Tina regrets missing out on the "juiciness [going] down," because "that's where the real show was! Damn!" Ironically, the Staten Island-bred singer was performing her hit, "Fighter," in another part of the venue. According to her, the entire thing was very "appropriate."
Continuing her sentiment,"[it was] genius. My music invokes passion and emotion." However, another source reported back to Christina claiming that the fight broke out while she was performing a Migos-based rendition of her classic, "Genie in a Bottle." So, she assumed Cardi "got excited because of that."
Obviously, this is far from the truth, but this side of the story may be one that the majority prefers. Check out Christina's version of events below
