NBA Legend Kobe Bryant Remembered On Two-Year Anniversary Of His Death
Two years ago Wednesday (January 26) Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven other people died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. The tragic incident shocked the entire world with most still grieving the enormous loss.
On the two-year anniversary, social media, including celebrities and friends, are looking back and remembering the Black Mamba.
Bryant’s ex-teammate Jordan Farmar told CBS Los Angeles: “When my oldest daughter was born, and I have a picture which we framed of him, and have in the house, of him holding her and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Just how much he transitioned to being the ultra-fierce competitor to this soft, healthy, worldly guy. And I think his kids and his girls softened him up and made him that way.”
Since Kobe Bryant’s passing, his widow, Vanessa Bryant, has filed a lawsuit against Los Angeles County over the sharing of personal cell phone photos by the L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters who were at the scene of the helicopter crash. If no settlement can be reached, a federal trial is scheduled to begin on February 22.
